We will accept cheque payments as well. Cheques have to be cleared before we will ship the item(s). Please allow min. 5 working days for clearance after receipt.

Delivery and Handling
Carriage is charged according to the weight of the item.
The carriage will be calculated automatically during the ‘checkout’ process.
We are trying to offer you the cheapest and safest shipping method. Smaller items will be send using Royal Mail First Class- signed for – service.
Normally we are able to deliver many models by the next 2 working days, but please allow up to a week for bicycles we stock.
We will also send you an e-mail as soon as your order has been despatched to our couriers, and if a parcel tracking number is available this will also be e-mailed to you. Whilst we try our best to meet estimated delivery times we cannot guarantee them as we use third party couriers.
We shall not be liable for any consequential losses caused by delivery delays.
Credit card security
We value your security by using Paypal’s or HSBC’s external credit card websites. They use the strongest available encryptions.

If you wish to complain
LIMITED WARRANTY/LIABILITY. Seller warrants it has title to the product delivered hereunder (“Product”) and may properly sell the same to Buyer and that such Product will conform to Seller’s then current specifications. SELLER MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, CONCERNING THE PRODUCT OR ITS MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS THEREOF FOR ANY PURPOSE, OR ITS NON-INFRINGEMENT. Seller shall not be liable for special, indirect, consequential or punitive damages of any kind under this Agreement or otherwise, whether or not caused by its negligence, and assumes no risk whatsoever as to the result of the use of Product either singly or in combination with other material. Buyer assumes responsibility to analyze Product, and Seller shall have no liability if Buyer uses Product that does not conform to the aforesaid specifications. Buyer represents that it is familiar with the characteristics of Product and assumes all responsibility and liability for and will indemnify and hold Seller harmless from any and all loss or injury to persons or property arising out of handling, use or possession of Product delivered to it. IN THE EVENT THAT THIS DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY IS HELD BY A COURT OF COMPETENT JURISDICTION NOT TO APPLY TO BUYER, SELLER’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO BUYER ON ANY CLAIM IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE SALE OR USE OF ANY OF THE PRODUCTS, WHETHER LIABILITY ARISES IN CONTRACT, FROM BREACH OF WARRANTY, IN TORT OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE PRODUCT’S INVOICE PRICE.
2. CLAIMS. Any claims by Buyer must be received by Seller in writing within 30 days of the date of delivery or non-delivery. Failure to deliver notice of claim to Seller within such 30 day period will constitute a waiver by Buyer of all claims in respect of such delivery or non-delivery.
There is a 1 year warranty on all our products we sell. This warranty period does not include accidental damage, misuse, abuse, neglect, normal wear and tear, something that can be adjusted, or a part that can be changed.
Warranty Cover: Parts only, but does not cover labour charges from other cycle dealers, transportation charges or consequential loss. It is therefore the responsibility of the purchaser to return the bicycle or component to us for assessment, replacement, or repair if not agreed otherwise.
Warranty Type: Return to Base Warranty.
All claims however must be submitted to us in writing.
Returns / Refunds / Cancellations
In the unlikely event you need to return anything to us, please send an e-mail to our customer care department firstname.lastname@example.org or via our contact form.
Please put as much detail as possible in the e-mail in case it is possible to resolve the problem to your full satisfaction without returning the bicycle. If it is necessary to return the bicycle we will e-mail you a returns number. We ask that you include a copy of this e-mail with the returned bicycle.
It is the customers responsibility to return all unwanted and faulty goods back to us a their expense.
If the goods are unwanted the item must come back to us in a re-sellable state. All Packaging must be intact and it should be sent back to us in its original box. If the item is returned damaged then a refund will not be issued and photographs can be sent on request. If the item is damaged on the return journey by the courier then it will be your responsibility to seek compensation from them. Bicycles4u will not have any involvement in this dispute.
If there is a fault with your product then we will inspect the item before any refund or exchange is issued. If the fault can be fixed then we will fix the problem, if not we will replace the item with the same or similar model. We will then send the item back to you. If an item is found not to be faulty then a returned carriage charge of £9.60 will be applied. If the bike has its original packaging and box we may offer you a refund minus 20% re-stocking fee.
All of our terms are in accordance with the Distant Selling Regulations Act. This does not alter or affect your statutory rights
Please do not return any item without first contacting our customer care department for a returns number.
Any items / bicycles you wish to return have to be packed very carefully using the original packaging. You will be responsible for any damages.
If any goods are returned which you feel are faulty and unrepairable, and covered by warranty, these must be returned to us for inspection, together with your purchase receipt. If it is found to be a genuine fault of manufacture*, we will usually either repair or replace it free of charge. In some cases we may offer a full refund.
If any parts on the bicycle are faulty*, or develop a fault* during the 12 month guarantee period, we will send out replacements free of charge, so long as they are covered by the warranty. Any labour/fitting charges are the responsibility of the customer.
If any goods are returned claiming to be faulty which we regard as not being covered by the warranty, we will contact you to inform you of this. In this event, you will be liable for all postage costs.
When you receive your bicycle or bicycles, it is important that you inspect them before signing for the delivery. If you are suspicious that the goods are damaged, or the box containing the goods looks damaged, then you should refuse delivery. In this event, do not sign for the goods and please contact us immediately (3 working days maximum) so that we can resolve the situation with our courier. Another bicycle will be sent out to you as soon as possible. If you sign for the goods and subsequently find that the goods are damaged it makes it harder for us to deal with your complaint.
It is important that all original packaging is kept until you are satisfied with the bicycle or bicycles and are sure that they will not need to be returned. Couriers will not accept a bicycle if it is not in its original packaging.
Any cancellation of an order must be given within 7 days of customer receiving of the goods.
Goods which are cancelled must be returned at consumer expense in appropriate packaging.
The goods have to be returned in original condition and the consumer is under duty to take good care of the goods.
* All postage costs relating to the returning of goods will be the responsibility of the buyer (except when the goods are either faulty or incorrect). We only offer a collection service for warranty claims within 28 days of the delivery date. bicycles will only be collected if they are enclosed in their original box.
* If a part is missing, damaged or broken, there is usually no need to send the whole bicycle back. Contact us and we will send any item(s) to you free of charge the next working day (whenever possible).
